Am Einstiegspunkt wird euch euer Guide mit ein paar Steuertechniken, sowie einigen Sicherheitsvorkehrungen vertraut machen. Gleich danach geht es in den Fluss, wo ihr euer individuelles Riverbug eigenhändig (und -füssig) durch die Wellen steuern werdet. Ihr könnt davon ausgehen, dass ihr nass werdet und richtig Spass dabei habt! Ihr lernt sogar ein paar coole Tricks, wie z.B. das Surfen auf einer Welle. Trotz aller Action habt ihr jedoch genug Zeit um mit den Riverbugs herumzuspielen, zu schwimmen oder euch einfach auf dem Wasser treiben zu lassen und die Umgebung zu geniessen.

Who can join the tour?
Riverbugging is fun and easy to learn and offers a unique way to experience the river environment. Our riverbug tours can be enjoyed by people from all walks of life. No previous experience is necessary – many of our guests are first timers! We welcome families with children.
Participants should be:
Reasonably fit & healthy
Able to swim
less than 120 kg
125 cm or taller
If you are unsure if the riverbug tour is suitable for you more information is available on our FAQ page. People with medical or physical conditions, or are pregnant should consult their doctor before joining a tour. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
What's included & what should I bring?
We provide all the necessary equipment and logistics for your tour (see list below) and a great time on the river! Just find your way to our river base in Wildalpen at the agreed departure time and bring the following items:
Swimming costume (to wear under your wetsuit)
Towel
Cash (if you need to pay for your trip or wish to purchase our souvenirs. We don't have card payment facilities)
Sunscreen (if the weather is hot and sunny...)
Additional info:
If you need to wear glasses during the tour, it's a good idea to bring a length of string or glasses retainer band with you to secure the glasses and prevent losing them on the river. For those who wear contact lenses we recommend bringing some disposable lenses for wearing on your trip.
We recommend before the tour to remove any watches or jewelry that could get lost or damaged on the river.
Participants with medical conditions such as asthma or allergies to bee and wasp stings should bring any medication so we may carry it in our first aid kit on the trip.
